PRESS ACCREDITATION

A limited number of press tickets are available for reporting purposes to most MK Lightning Matches. If you would like to request press tickets, please contact the Press Office via email stating which publication you are reviewing for, and we will do our best to accommodate you. We regret that we cannot fulfil all requests. Please avoid requesting press tickets more than 4 weeks before a match date. If you with to apply for season-long accreditation, please state this in your email. Accreditation is available as follows.
  1.  Freelancers – All requests from freelancers should be submitted in writing and signed by the editor confirming commissioned coverage of the event.
  2. Websites – Only editorial staff from relevant websites may apply for accreditation.  Websites using information and news linking from other sources will not be accredited.
  3. Broadcast – Accreditation for reporters should be submitted using the accreditation form. All requests should be in accordance with standard broadcasting guidelines and subsequent guidelines of the organisers. Broadcast crews must be escorted at all times and no filming can take place without permission from Milton Keynes Ice Hockey Club Limited.
  4. Photographers – Accredited press photographers are not permitted to sell their images to competitors or the public. Photographers will only be accredited to take photos for press or sponsors and not to sell to competitors or the public either at the match or through any websites post match. Failure to comply with this request may result in future accreditation applications being denied. After the event Milton Keynes Ice Hockey Club Limited. may request selected images from accredited photographers to be used in promoting the match. These images would be expected to be provide upon request to be used copyright free with no moral rights asserted for the future promotion of Milton Keynes Ice Hockey Club events. All enquiries about image use for non-Milton Keynes Ice Hockey Club. events will be directed back to the photographer. All photographers must wear their armband at all times whilst working.
  5. General – The organisers reserve the right to decline any application for any reason at the sole discretion of Milton Keynes Ice Hockey Club. All accredited members of the press will receive an access ticket and must sign in to collect their armband/lanyard at the press office upon arrival at the match / event. All accredited press must provide their letter of acceptance and a form of ID upon check in.
  6. Press Photographers will be asked to show their armband at all times and they must not obstruct other photographers at any time.
  7. Player Interviews – Players can be held following the match upon request for brief interviews; please see the Press Office to arrange this for you.
