Callum Field returns to MK Lightning after a record goal-scoring year

MK Lightning are delighted to announce the re-signing of Callum Field for the 2023/24 season. This will be Callum's fourth season with the team, having played 55 games last year and scoring 12 goals and 3 assists, totalling 15 points. MK Lightning fans can look forward to seeing Jordan Hedley back between the pipes and helping the team to achieve their goals for the 2023/24 season.  The talented goalie will return to the team for a second season after an impressive debut campaign last year. Coach’s Player of the Year James Griffin brings his physicality and speed to MK Lightning for another year

Today we are sharing the news of the re-signing of defenceman James Griffin for the 2023/24 season. The upcoming season marks Griffin's 9th year with the team, and we know fans will be excited to see him hit the ice once again. Playoff Finalist Harry Gulliver brings his attacking threat to MK Lightning

MK Lightning  is excited to announce the signing of Harry Gulliver for the 2023/24 season. The 23-year-old forward was born in Essex and joins MK Lightning from  Raiders Ice Hockey Club, where he scored an impressive 22 goals and 31 assists during the 2022/23 season. Gulliver's hockey journey began at the Okanagan Hockey Academy, where he honed his skills and developed into the player he is today. Milique Martelly sets the tone for MKL’s 2023/24 Season

Overall MK Lightning have had a successful season in the Planet Ice National Hockey League, securing second place in the League campaign and reaching the Semi-Final of the Cup. Cameron Hamill joins AIB MK Lightning

Just before the signing deadline at the end of January we were delighted to secure the services of Cameron Hamill on a two-way with Solway Sharks for the rest of the season. 18 year old Cam has experience in our league already this year, having scored 10 points in 32 games for Hull Seahawks. We are really pleased to work with Cam and support his development, and it will be great to see him pull on an MKL jersey for the first time this weekend. Gui Doucet signs as injury cover, plays this weekend Already missing 5 players on GB duty and with Sam Russell still working on his return it is a further blow that illness has forced Deivids Sarkanis to the sidelines for this weekend.  As cover for Deivids we are delighted that Gui Doucet will be one again pulling on an MK jersey this weekend in our two matches.  36 year old Gui is Canadian and spent his career in the Canadian junior leagues, before moving to Europe and playing in the UK, France and Denmark.
