All In Black MK Lightning Covid Update 9th December 2021
We are committed to making sure you have a safe and pleasant experience when attending All In Black MK Lightning matches. SIGNING NEWS: Forceful forward Mikey Power brings further offensive depth to All In Black MK Lightning
Joining us to drive additional depth and firepower to our forward lines, we’re excited to welcome Mikey Power to the All In Black MK Lightning. He joins us having spent the first part of the season with Bees, having picked up 13 points in 22 games across NIHL National League and Cup. 21 year old Mikey brings decent physical presence to the team, and is an agile 6’1” and 201lbs addition. Helping 6-year-old Jake Peill share acts of kindness this year
Last week AIB Milton Keynes Lightning #5 defenceman Ben Russell came to us and told us about Jake Peill. Ben had seen Jake’s story on his local estate Facebook group, and wondered if the amazing MKL fans might be able to help Jake in his quest. 6 year old Jake was bullied by some children on his estate last year and was upset when he saw some others receiving the same treatment when they were out playing near their homes. 2021/22 AIB MKL Remembrance Day Commemorations
Commemoration of Remembrance Day has always been a huge part of the Milton Keynes Lightning season, and this year is no exception. As a club, we are committed supporters of our armed forces, through our fundraising for the Royal British Legion, and our signature of the Armed Forces covenant. None of this is possible without the amazing fundraising and support efforts of the Milton Keynes Lightning Supporters Club. This time last year, we were thrilled to announce a new partnership with Brioche Pasquier. With everything that followed, we didn’t really get the opportunity to work together as originally envisaged. The All In Black MK Lightning are therefore delighted to announce that Brioche Pasquier are once again working with us as Official Engagement and Communities Partner. Postponed game vs. Basingstoke Bison (26/9) – Rescheduling Information
We unfortunately had to postpone the game on the 26th September vs. Basingstoke Bison due to some ice issues at Planet Ice MK. We can now share details of the rescheduling of this game: The game will be played on Wednesday 27th October, face off 8pm. We are currently due to play an NIHL National League fixture against Basingstoke Bison on that day, so this League fixture will be reclassified as an Autumn Cup fixture Tickets for the original game gate will automatically be transferred to the revised fixture date (unless you’ve asked for a transfer to a different game [...]
