Joe Wilson joins AIB MKL as Assistant Coach

Building out the All In Black MKL coaching team for 2022/23, we are delighted to welcome Joe Wilson as our Assistant Coach.   27 year old Joe had a playing career exclusively in Peterborough where he appeared at junior and NIHL2 level, before moving into coaching in 2017/18 as Assistant Coach of the Peterborough Phantoms NIHL 2 side.  Joe then moved to Chelmsford Chieftains as Head Coach in a role which he held for nearly 4 seasons before moving on in March 2022.   Joe also plays a key role in junior coaching and development, working alongside former MK King [...]

Sam Russell signs for AIB MKL and is working hard to make his return

Callum Field returns for the next step in his development with AIB MKL for 2022/23

Following a great debut season for AIB MKL, we are delighted that Callum Field is returning to the squad for 2022/23 and is looking forward to taking the next step in his hockey development. James Griffin is our first signing of 2022/23

Last night at the Supporters Club end of season awards we were thrilled to announce that our first signing of 2022/23 is defensive favourite James Griffin! 29 year old James was born in Oxford and developed through the Swindon junior system. He made his Elite League debut in 2010-11 for Coventry and spent the following 4 seasons there before moving to MK in the 2015-16 season.  Since then he has made over 280 league appearances including 30 in 2021-2022 when he picked up 2 goals and 9 assists, and a crucial 5 points in 10 playoff games. Memorial Cup winner and “Terrific” player Adam Laishram joins AIB MK Lightning forward lines

We are delighted that Adam Laishram will join AIB Milton Keynes Lightning for the 2021/22 season.  Adam is a British passport holder, but having spent his career to date in Canada, he is classified as a non-British trained player. 24 year old Adam was born in Ashburn, Ontario, Canada has spent the last 4 years at St Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia.  Prior to that he spent 4 years and made 225 appearances in the prestigious Ontario Hockey League for Belleville Bulls, Hamilton Bulldogs and Windsor Spitfires, picking up 91 points overall.
