A2B Airport Transfers Match Report: Telford Tigers 1 – 4 Smith Recycling MKL
Match Reports are brought to you in association with A2B Airport Transfers League leaders Telford Tigers were left stunned as Smith Recycling Milton Keynes Lightning claimed a second consecutive victory at Telford on Sunday – running out 4-1 winners in a game which saw both coaches and six players ejected. Lewis Clifford and Tom Watkins were both thrown out for allegedly failing to control their teams during a mid-game bench clearance in which referees Chris Wells and Ion Hands appeared to lose their grasp on the players. The result of the clearance saw Tigers Andy McKinney receive a [...]

James Griffin injury update
On Sunday James Griffin took a heavy collision to the boards and the Raiders player Jack Flynn. All due credit to Jack for the concern he showed following the hit which was not malicious and drew no penalty. Thanks to the Raiders physio who was quickly on the scene. James was helped from the ice and received treatment in the locker room for a lower leg injury. Our medical staff were concerned enough that they advised James to attend A&E. Xrays and examinations, fortunately, confirmed no broken bones but did identify a leg injury and a good deal of swelling.
