To run an Hockey bench during the game takes some people that we couldn’t be without,.  We announced these guys at the end of Season Awards night, but in case you missed this announcement, we are delighted to welcome them back to the Team for the 23/24 season.

Andy Watkins

Andy Watkins has provided years of brilliant service as MKL’s equipment manager, and is part of an MK hockey dynasty with his son Daniel and wife Sue and daughter Zoe, who also play crucial match night roles (thank you all!). Andy has taken on further responsibility with all of our equipment purchasing, and has shown himself to be super reliable and a shrewd negotiator. Thank you for all your hard work Andy!

Daniel Watkins

Daniel Watkins is part of our equipment team and is a shining example of diligence and hard work. If you see Daniel on a matchnight, he will almost certainly be carrying a massive stack of sticks, taking care of something urgent, or putting himself in the line of fire opening the door on the bench. Daniel is one of the true unsung heroes of MK and British hockey, and we thank him for everything he does.

Liam Ramshaw

Liam Ramshaw is our physio and first aider. He provides excellent service in emergencies to deal with injuries during the game, as well as supporting the team at training and before and after games by providing massage, therapies and treatments to soothe aching muscles and joints. Liam is trained in everything from fixing cuts to managing concussions protocols and return to play and we really couldn’t survive without him! Thanks Liam!

Jordan Gravestock

Jordan a Sports Massage Therapist and Liam’s assistant.  He’s often seen running backwards and forwards from the locker room with ice and medical supplies, but does get very hands on when needed.  In fact he gets very hands on with the players before the game giving the pre-game massages to some of your favourite MKL stars in the locker room.  He was  an invaluable asset last season, and we are glad to have him back this year too.
