The entire community of the Milton Keynes Lightning Ice Hockey Club and the Milton Keynes Lightning Supporters Club expresses profound sorrow at the sudden passing of Adam Johnson on Saturday. During this incredibly trying time, our thoughts go out to his family, friends and teammates.

Both MKL and the MKLSC have jointly decided to organise an online raffle featuring exclusive MKL Jerseys, each with the number 47 and the name JOHNSON on the back, symbolising our unwavering support for the essence of the #hockeyfamily.

The online raffle will include the following 5 jerseys:

4 will showcase this season’s designs, all adorned with #47 and bearing the name JOHNSON on the rear, in Dark, Light, Warm Up and Pink

The fifth is the #28 Wallace dark league shirt, which was worn during the game against Bees on March 25th, 2023, featuring the authenticity patch from the game.

Dave Bunyan, of the MKLSC, has personally reached out to the Nottingham Panthers today and has received confirmation that all proceeds generated from this raffle can be donated to the official Nottingham Panthers GoFundMe page, which has been established to provide by Adam’s family for the “Love for Hibbing and Hockey Memorial Fund”.

The online raffle is open now, and will close on Sunday evening.

You can purchase raffle tickets here

While this raffle can not change the awful events of Saturday, we hope that it will help support Adam’s family in their time of need.
