Defenceman of the Year Leigh Jamieson commits for 2020/21
Following last week’s signing of James Griffin, we’re delighted to reveal a further strengthening of our defensive capabilities with the re-signing of last season’s Defenceman of Year Leigh Jamieson. A long-time servant of the club, 34-year-old Leigh celebrated his 500th league appearance for MKL towards the end of last season, as part of a career which also includes Elite experience and international honours at World Championships and Olympic qualifier levels. Leigh is MK born and raised and started his hockey career in the MK junior system playing for the Storm. We're truly delighted to share with you our first signing news for the 2020/21 season. Hotshot forward Liam Stewart has put pen to paper for the club for next season and we couldn't be happier. 25-year-old Liam has had an extraordinary impact on and off the ice for Smith Recycling Milton Keynes Lightning since his arrival.
