We are delighted to introduce the newest addition to the Smith Recycling Milton Keynes Lightning squad.  Taylor Dickin joins us from Southern Professional Hockey League club Birmingham Bulls in Alabama, USA.  He has signed for the rest of the season, in a move forced by the injury to Robin Kovar.

31 year old Taylor is a dual Canadian / British passport holder, and brings with him extensive playing experience across USA and Canada, as well as over 150 Elite League appearances with Edinburgh Capitals, Manchester Storm and Dundee Stars scoring 85 points and 29 goals.

Speaking about Taylor’s arrival, Lighting Head Coach Lewis Clifford said: “We are gutted to lose Kovy who has been great for us since his arrival and will continue to play an important team role off the ice as his rehabilitation progresses.  When I spoke with Taylor I was impressed that he understood exactly what we need and asked all the right questions about his teammates and the setup we have.  This gives me confidence that he’ll be able to hit the ground running and compete.”

Taylor said of his move: “I’m happy to be joining MK for the rest of the season and I look forward to meeting my new teammates as well as playing in front of our passionate fans”.

Cliff finished by thanking Taylor: “We’re really grateful for Taylor in stepping up and jumping on a plane to join us as soon as he can.  He’s a great professional and we’re really pleased to have him on the team.”

Taylor will wear the number 89 jersey which is available for Own and Loan.  Please email dave@b2promodesign.com for further information.
