It’s good to be back and also see the guys this week. They have been fun to work with and competed hard for each other. It will take time but this weekend will help them find more conditioning and wake up there minds further against a team who is weeks ahead of us in those fronts

The 30-year-old Coventry-born netminder spent several years in the Elite League with Coventry Blaze and represented Great Britain internationally before becoming a key figure for MK. Standing 6’3, Hedley uses his size and positioning to good effect, combining calmness with the ability to make big saves when his team needs him most. Since arriving in Milton Keynes, he has grown into a leader both on and off the ice, providing consistency and a reassuring presence behind the defence. With his mixture of experience, composure, and competitive edge, fans can expect Hedley to continue delivering match-winning performances in 2026/27.

Dante Hahn arrives back in Rostock with proven offensive production from his previous spell with the Piranhas, having also built experience across German hockey. His most recent campaign with Deggendorfer SC was particularly productive, while his earlier Rostock season also saw him finish among the team’s leading point producers. That combination of scoring ability and experience makes Hahn a player Lightning will need to monitor closely when he gets time and space in attack. Joshua Geu brings considerable experience of the German game and returns to Rostock after spending the previous campaign with the Piranhas. His numbers show a player capable of contributing from the back end, with assists consistently making up a significant part of his offensive output throughout his Germany3 career. Geu has also gained experience at higher levels, including DEL2, giving him a broad understanding of the German game. Lightning will need to limit his opportunities to create and contribute. Fedor Kolupaylo offers Rostock a significant attacking threat, having produced strong scoring numbers across several seasons in Germany. His career includes experience in both Germany3 and DEL2, while previous campaigns have seen him register particularly impressive offensive totals. After spending the previous season with Hannover Indians, Kolupaylo now joins Rostock with plenty of experience and an established record of finding the scoresheet.
