As Director of Hockey, you will:

  • Create individual player development plans.

Director of Hockey – MK Storm

Location: Planet Ice Milton Keynes (with regional travel as required)

Position: Part-Time (approx. 20 hours per week)

● On-Ice: 6-8 hours/week (currently Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings)

● Off-Ice: Approx. 12-14 hours/week (planning, meetings, and game attendance)

● Salary/Remuneration: Paid position – £15k to £20k (based on experience)

● Reports To: MK Storm Committee / Board of Trustees

MK Storm is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Hockey (DoH) to spearhead the next phase of our hockey journey and bring leadership, development, and delivery of our junior ice hockey programme. As the DoH, you will shape the club’s long-term hockey strategy, establish consistent coaching standards, and design player pathways from absolute beginners to elite junior levels. This is a highly collaborative role where you will mentor volunteer coaches, design individual player development plans, and bring national and international best practices directly into the Milton Keynes system.
