Milton Keynes Lightning are delighted to announce the signing of forward Andrew Heath for the remainder of the 2025/26 season. Heath returns to the UK after several years developing his game in North America and will join the Lightning as a versatile addition to the forward group.
Andrew Heath, 19, is a London-born forward whose recent seasons in North American junior leagues showcased his potential. In 2024-2025 with the Binghamton Buzz (NA3HL), Heath played 38 games, recording 7 goals and 13 assists for a total of 20 points. His development pathway has seen him progress through a range of junior programmes, building a reputation as a reliable skater with good puck control and the ability to contribute in multiple roles.
Head Coach of Milton Keynes Lightning, Tim Wallace, commented on the new signing:
“Andy is a smooth, efficient skater with the skill set to match. His ability to play both wing and centre gives us valuable flexibility as we move forward. He brings playmaking instincts, poise with the puck, and the kind of pace that can drive a line. We expect him to help us in transition and add another layer of creativity to our group.”
Andrew Heath himself added:
“Excited to return to the UK after several years abroad and officially sign for MK Lightning! Can’t wait to get on the ice, make my debut for the Lightning, and experience the incredible home crowd I’ve heard so much about.”
With Heath joining the squad, the Lightning gain a young forward whose speed and two-way potential should slot neatly into multiple roles. His ability to drive play, contribute offensively, and adapt to different line combinations adds depth and tactical flexibility for a busy season ahead.
Andrew is already training with the team and will join the line-up as soon as the final paperwork is completed.
Andrew will wear the number 14 jersey, which is available from to Own and Loan now.
