MKL Retro jersey 25/ 26 season

We are delighted to announce that this season we will be hosting a Retro Night at MK Lightning.

For the past couple of years, MK Lightning and the MKL Supporters Club have been discussing the idea of a Retro Night,  a chance to look back and celebrate the club’s heritage since its formation in 2002.

The game will take place on Sunday 25 January 26 against the Basingstoke Bison.

We will be welcoming a number of special guests on the night, including former owners Vito and Harry, as well as several of the players whose jerseys now hang proudly in the rafters.

And of course, a special evening deserves a special jersey.

Working with the MKL Supporters Club, we have gone right back to our roots by recreating the very first jersey ever worn by MK Lightning.

You will notice that the jersey carries no sponsor logos, and we are extremely grateful to our partners for agreeing to this for this one-off design.

The only jerseys  that will be produced are for the current playing squad and for the retired numbers in the rafters, who we hope will also be able to wear them off ice on the night.

There will be a few opportunities to own one of these unique jerseys, including Own and Loan, a game-night raffle, and an online raffle. A huge thank you to Dave at the MKL Supporters Club for coordinating which jerseys are being used where.
