Milton Keynes Lightning are delighted to announce the return of centreman Callum Field for the 2025/26 season, making this his 5th season with the team. Standing at 6’5″ and weighing 201 lbs, a Northampton native, Field has been with the Lightning since the age of 16, developing into a key player over the past four seasons.
In the 2024/25 season, Field appeared in 54 games, recording 3 goals and 10 assists, at aged just 20, seeing a steady improvement year on year.
Expressing his enthusiasm for the upcoming season, Field stated:
“Really excited to be back in the club I love and the best fans in the league. Cannot wait to focus on hopefully repeating our success of last season and adding more silverware. My game has come on loads under the guidance of Tim, and I look forward to continuing this and playing a more prominent role in the upcoming season. Cannot wait for the new season.”
Head Coach Tim Wallace shared his thoughts on Field’s re-signing:
“Callum has made tremendous strides over the past couple of years, and we believe he still has even more potential to unlock. Since my time here, he has consistently done everything that’s been asked of him and has developed into a smart, positionally strong player. The next step is continuing to build on that foundation—putting in the work this summer and playing with confidence. We’re excited to have him back and look forward to what he’ll bring this season.”
As the Lightning gear up for the new season, fans can look forward to seeing Field continue to make his mark on the ice.
Callum will continue to wear the number 11 jersey, which is available from to Own and Loan from when the news is released.
