lifestack Milton Keynes Lightning forward Elliot Lewis has earned an exciting opportunity in the Elite League with Guildford Flames following a successful training camp.
The move sees Lewis join the club where he developed through the junior ranks, while remaining on a two-way agreement with MK Lightning. It represents an excellent opportunity for Elliot to continue his development at the highest level in the UK full-time.
Of his time with Lightning, Elz said:
“There are far too many people to thank individually, so instead, I’ll thank you all! From the players, Tim, Joe, Lewy and Pete, to the backroom staff and, of course, you, the fans — you all made my time at MK very special.
It’s time to say goodbye and move on to an opportunity that I simply can’t turn down. I feel incredibly privileged to be able to say that I spent time at such a brilliant organisation.
You, the fans, play such a huge part in MK Lightning’s success, and my message to you is that I’m right there with you, cheering the Lightning on this year.
I want and wish nothing but success for the club this year and going forward. It’s an exciting time to be a Lightning fan!
I’m sure this isn’t goodbye forever, but for now, enjoy cheering the boys on. Take care, and see you all in the future”
lifestack MK Lightning wishes Elliot every success with Guildford Flames and look forward to following his progress throughout the season.
With the two-way agreement in place, the door remains open for Lewis to continue his association with the Lightning as he takes this important next step in his career.
