Milton Keynes Lightning are excited to announce the signing of centre/right-wing Dawson Osborn for the 2025/26 season.
A Haywards Heath native, Dawson (born 3 August 2004) joins the squad from the Tampa Bay Juniors in the USPHL Premier, where he enjoyed a highly productive year, participating in 41 games and tallying 12 goals and 30 assists for a total of 42 points.
Standing 6’1″ and weighing 185 lbs, he brings a unique combination of skill, tenacity, and on-ice intelligence.
Head Coach Tim Wallace commented on the acquisition:
“Dawson is a strong skater with skill and creativity, but what really stands out is his reliability on both sides of the puck. He has a great attitude and plays the game the right way. I think he’ll be a great fit with our group both on and off the ice.”
Dawson shared his enthusiasm:

A product of the Inverness youth program and Guildford Flames Juniors to name just two teams, Dawson has fine-tuned his defensive instincts while increasing his offensive impact in North America. His confidence on the penalty kill, ability to win puck battles, and vision on the powerplay have translated into steady offensive production—averaging nearly a point per game over his USPHL tenure.
With his commitment to defensive responsibility and offensive opportunism, Dawson aligns perfectly with MK Lightning’s commitment to disciplined, team-first hockey.
Dawson will wear the number 34 jersey, which is available from to Own and Loan from when the news is released.
