Lewis Christie has signed a short term contract with Smith Recycling Milton Keynes Lightning. Edinburgh born Lewis is no stranger to MK, having iced 9 seasons for Lightning, and most recently for Thunder. He has Elite League experience with Edinburgh, Belfast and Basingstoke and is a GB U18 and U20 cap. A2B Airport Transfers Match Report: Sheffield Steeldogs 6 – 4 MKL 22nd September
Match Reports are brought to you in association with A2B Airport Transfers Two late penalties finally killed off Smith Milton Keynes Lightning’s challenge when they lost 6-4 at Sheffield Steeldogs on Sunday after matching their opponents for most of the game. Lightning were still in with a chance of taking something from the encounter when they lost the services of Jordan Stokes for tripping and then incurred a too many men on the ice penalty with less than two minutes remaining. Instead they were left on the wrong end of a 5-4 scoreline. It [...]
