We unfortunately had to postpone the game on the 26th September vs. Basingstoke Bison due to some ice issues at Planet Ice MK. We can now share details of the rescheduling of this game: The game will be played on Wednesday 27th October, face off 8pm. James Archer returned to the Milton Keynes Lightning fold for the first time in 12 years and quickly made his mark on the NIHL Autumn Cup game at Telford Tigers on Saturday. Milton Keynes Lightning were unable to recover from going two goals behind when they went down 4-1 to Peterborough Phantoms in the National Autumn Cup on Sunday. As we’ve built our squad for the 2021/22 season, MKL Head Coach Lewis Clifford has worked hard to balance the priorities of building a squad for the future, performance on the ice, and working within the NIHL wage cap structures for this season.
