It's the end of an era at Milton Keynes Lightning as veteran defenseman and Assistant Captain, Ross Green, announces his retirement from professional ice hockey following his Testimonial match this Saturday. Green, who has been with the Lightning for over 16 years, has decided to hang up his skates at the age of 32 to focus on personal pursuits. Ross Green, a Chelmsford native, has been a stalwart on the ice, appearing over 500 times for Milton Keynes Lightning. Lewis Christie Announces Retirement from Professional Hockey
After an illustrious career spanning over 16 years, Lewis Christie #66 is officially announcing his retirement from professional hockey. Christie, a stalwart defenceman for the Milton Keynes Lightning since 2008, has been a central figure in the team, epitomising leadership and dedication on and off the ice. Lewy will play his last home game on the 20th April 2024, MK Lightning vs Raiders.
