We are delighted to announce that this season we will be hosting a Retro Night at MK Lightning. For the past couple of years, MK Lightning and the MKL Supporters Club have been discussing the idea of a Retro Night,  a chance to look back and celebrate the club’s heritage since its formation in 2002. The game will take place on Sunday 25 January 26 against the Basingstoke Bison. The response to the Retro jerseys has been truly overwhelming. We didn’t want to produce standard “replica” jerseys, as we feel that takes something away from the originals on the ice for the night, but we are very conscious that a lot of fans were disappointed to miss out. Working with the MKLSC, we’ve come up with an approach that we both think strikes the right balance. We will produce one replica jersey for each player who iced in the very first season 2002/2003. MK Lightning are delighted to announce the Christmas jerseys that will be worn this season. The white jersey will be worn on Sunday the 21st December vs Swindon Wildcats. The red jersey will be worn against Peterborough Phantoms on the 27th December. Milton Keynes Lightning are proud to unveil this year’s Remembrance Jersey, a uniquely designed tribute that honours the bravery, intelligence, and sacrifice of those who served during World War II. The jersey has been designed by James Griffin from 123 Internet and holds deep local and historical significance. At first glance, the jersey carries a striking and respectful design, but look closer, and you’ll find that every element tells a story. It's getting closer to Saturday night hockey returning in Milton Keynes, when the new MK Lightning jerseys are launched.
