lifestack Milton Keynes Lightning are delighted to confirm the return of Milique Martelly for the 2026/27 campaign.
Martelly, a familiar face to lifestack MK Lightning supporters, re-joins the roster as the organisation continues to build a competitive and dynamic squad under Head Coach Pete Russell.
Known for his speed, tenacity, and developing offensive impact, Martelly is expected to play an important role in the team’s structure this season. In the 2025/26 campaign, Martelly delivered another step forward in his progression, producing 35 points from the blue line across 44 games, including 6 goals and 29 assists, alongside only 20 penalty minutes. His 35-point season underlined his growing offensive contribution from the back end, while maintaining his trademark defensive reliability and skating ability.
Speaking on his return, Milique Martelly said:
“I’m really excited to be back with the team for the 2026–27 season. After speaking with Pete and Lewy, I’m excited to see everything come together for the season ahead. It’s a great place to continue developing, with the coaches and players coming in. Milton Keynes is home, and I’m excited to be back playing in front of the fans for another season. I’m confident we can make it a successful one together.”
