Milton Keynes Lightning is proud to announce the return of Acute Ambulance & Medical Services (AAMS) as our Official Medical Partner for the 2025/26 season. In a sport as fast and physical as ice hockey, ensuring the health and safety of players and spectators is paramount. With AAMS on board, MK Lightning fans can rest assured that expert medical support is always close by on match nights.

AAMS has been a vital part of our matchday operations for several seasons and continues to provide paramedic-led ambulance crews at every MKL home game. You’ll find their highly trained medics stationed under Block 2 and between Blocks 11 and 12 (where the Olympia enters the ice), ensuring rapid response to any on-ice or crowd incidents. For games with high attendance, they also provide an on-site doctor, offering enhanced care and peace of mind for all in the arena.

In addition to home games, AAMS supports Liam and our travelling team medics, with vital equipment and guidance. Liam, trained to FREC 4 level by AAMS, ensures the team is protected even when playing away from home. AAMS also supplies and maintains a Defibrillator at Planet Ice Milton Keynes, accessible to all rink users, alongside offering training and advice for emergency use.

🟤 Puck Sponsorship Returns!
We’re also thrilled to confirm that AAMS will once again be the Official Puck Sponsor for the season. Their logo will proudly feature on every puck that hits the ice — so keep your eyes on the puck at all times… especially now it’s got lifesaving support behind it!

Acute Ambulance & Medical Services are not only true experts in their field, they are also passionate hockey fans. That’s why we’re thrilled to be working with them once again as our Official Medical Partner for the 2025/26 season. Kieran, Christina and the team provide paramedic-led care for our players on the ice and for our fans in the stands. Quite simply, we wouldn’t feel as safe or secure without them. It’s wonderful to have them back, and always reassuring to see their distinctive green uniforms around the arena.”

Kieren Gibson, Founder and Managing Director of AAMS, added:
A.A.M.S are thrilled to be renewing our sponsorship relationship with MK Lightning for another season. Our team really enjoys providing medical support for both players and spectators on match nights and hope that everyone has a safe and successful season ahead.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Acute Ambulance & Medical Services for their ongoing dedication and support as Official Medical Partner. Their continued presence at Planet Ice Milton Keynes enhances safety for everyone and strengthens the team both on and off the ice.
