Milton Keynes Lightning are thrilled to announce the signing of centre Jarvis Hunt for the 2025/26 season. Born 16 January 2002 in Aylesbury, Hunt returns to his roots, and his hometown, as a key centreman to the Lightning’s roster for the upcoming campaign.
Standing 184 cm tall and weighing 86 kg, Hunt brings a powerful combination of size, skill, and experience. Last season with the Peterborough Phantoms, he played 48 regular-season games in the NIHL National Division, notching 14 goals and 16 assists for 30 points, along with 43 penalty minutes, including eight power-play tallies and one shorthanded strike.
Lightning Head Coach Tim Wallace commented on the signing:
“Jarvis is a true centre and someone I’ve had my eye on for a while. He’s reliable on face‑offs, smart defensively, and has a lot of upside—especially when it comes to adding more to his offensive game. He’s an important piece for us down the middle, and I’m really glad to see him in a Lightning jersey.”
Residing locally in Milton Keynes and having started his junior career with MK Storm, Hunt is keen to represent his hometown. He shared:
“I’m really excited to be joining Lightning for next season. My first junior club was Storm and I still live in MK so it will be special to pull on the Lightning jersey. I can’t wait to get going in September and play in front of the loudest fans in the league. See you all soon.”
Jarvis will wear the number 96 jersey, which is available from to Own and Loan now.
Please email dave@b2promodesign.com to Own and Loan stating what jersey you would like – Light, Dark, Warm-up or any!
