Information as of 17:05 Thursday 12th March

We’d like to share some information about how we as a club are monitoring Coronavirus and to confirm that, in light of the latest briefing from the Government just now, this weekend’s fixtures will go ahead as normal.

On Saturday we are home to Sheffield, and tickets remain on sale as normal online, by phone or in person.  The match will run as normal, and there will be no restrictions on crowd sizes or entry arrangements.  There are no planned changes to league, playoff or Coventry finals weekend arrangements at this time.  We are in contact with the league so that we can engage with any planned changes as and when they arrive.

We are working to ensure that our on-ice and off-ice team are looked after during this period, and in line with Government advice we are asking anyone with any symptoms (37.8 Celsius or above temperature, and/or a new and continuous cough) to stay away from the game and to watch from home via the stream.

Right now there are no reported symptoms within our playing, coaching or management staff but we are in frequent contact with all of them to get any early warning should symptoms develop.  We will continue to plan and operate in line with Government advice and all of these arrangements are subject to change as and when new information emerges.

We hope this gives you some clarity in advance of the weekend and thank you for your patience, understanding and co-operation as the situation develops.

In the mean-time, we’ve found the perfect lyrics to complement your handwashing regime
