Volunteers play an important role in delivering success at MK Lightning – the Supporters Club, Match Night Helpers, Directors, Advisors, DJ and Coordinators are all volunteers and all help build a stronger, sustainable club and create an exceptional experience on a match night.

Bookkeeper/Cash Flow Analyst

Reporting to the Board of Directors, you’ll play a key role in our Finance function. You’ll be responsible for cash flow forecasting and management (including variance reporting) as well as assisting with cost control, budgeting, invoicing, payments, VAT returns and the reconciliation of accounts using Xero. You’ll ideally be AAT qualified or working towards your qualification.

Business Development Executive

We’re looking for someone with a passion for Business Development to join our Sponsorship team. You’ll be responsible for generating income for the club by identifying and developing new sponsorship, advertising, business partnership and corporate hospitality opportunities. You’ll be prospecting potential clients whilst building and maintaining strong relationships with the business community across MK and the surrounding areas.

Laundry and Kit Assistant

We need an attentive laundry assistant to join our off-ice team. Working with the Head Coach, you’ll be responsible for washing, cleaning, drying and sorting various items of kit and equipment. Any sewing skills for minor repairs would be an added bonus!

Trainee Producer – Lightning TV

Lightning TV need a proactive and enthusiastic Trainee Producer to assist with the running of the Live Stream on match nights. You will be responsible for setup and strike down, movement of equipment during programming, liaison between Production and Presenting Staff, running of the desk and monitor during live feeds (whilst shadowing show Producer) as well as the operation of camera and sound equipment.

Camera Operator – Lightning TV

As our new Camera Operator, you’ll play a key role with the running of the Live Stream on match nights. You’ll be responsible for the operation of camera and associated sound equipment during the live streams as well as assisting the wider team with setup and strike down and the safe movement of equipment. This will suit someone with energy and a keen eye for detail.
